Saliva flow is required in your mouth to coat and lubricate oral tissues, which helps to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Here are 8 home remedies for dry mouth that you can use.
1. Don't Forget To Stay Hydrated.
Taking regular sips of water to quench your dry mouth might make a great difference.
Drink bottled water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
Every day, everyone should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water.
You'll need more water if you're more active.
If you're going to the gym, bring a bottle of water with you.

2. Rinse The Pain Away

5. Refrain from eating sweets.
If you have dry mouth, limit your intake of sweet, sticky, sugary meals.
Because you don't have enough saliva, these foods will stick to your teeth, increasing your risk of cavities and other dental problems.
6. Use a humidifier to add moisture to the air.
Use a cool-air vaporizer in your bedroom to add some much-needed humidity to the air and to alleviate nighttime mouth dryness.
If you normally breathe through your mouth, make an effort to breathe through your nose at night to avoid saliva from evaporating.
7. Take a multivitamin to keep your body hydrated.
Vitamin deficiencies, especially riboflavin and vitamin A, might cause your mouth to dry up.
Mouth dryness can be caused by pernicious anemia, which is caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency.
If this is the case, a daily multivitamin and mineral supplement may be beneficial in combating dryness.
8. Replace your toothbrush on a more regular basis.
